PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) is a lipid substance naturally present in various ocular structures. Topical application of PEA, due to the use of cyclodextrin, has a calming effect. Hyaluronic acid is a substance capable of binding to the surface of the eye and retaining large amounts of water, thus regulating the hydration of the eye surface and therefore its lubrication.
